Teen Leadership Forum (February 14 - 17, 2025) - $250

Designed for teenagers who are currently in 9th through 12th grade. Campers will stay in cabins with adequate heating/cooling and participate in activities such as canoeing, archery, sports/games, and more. The camp will include intentional opportunities for participants to develop teamwork, independence, self‐confidence, leadership skills, and make life‐long friends. It’s where teens grow, connect, and are inspired to live well. All meals, snacks, and most diabetes supplies (including insulin) are provided with the exception of pump and CGM supplies.

Dothan Day Camp (June 16 - 20, 2025, 8:00AM-3:00PM) - $175

This one-week day camp provides fun while making new T1D friends. Campers learn how to be independent in a medically-supervised, interactive, camp setting. Lunch, snacks, and most diabetes supplies (including insulin) are provided with the exception of pump supplies and CGM supplies. One sibling or friend may also register for this program.

Birmingham T1D Family Party (January 12, 2025, 2:00PM-4:00PM) - FREE

Join your T1D friends as we kick off 2025 on Sunday, January 12 in a scientific way at the McWane Science Center! This FREE event promises fun for all ages. Siblings & family members are invited & encouraged to attend. Adventure Hall Wristbands and parking will be included and snacks will be provided. It will run from 2-4pm at McWane Science Center (200 19th St N; Birmingham, AL 35203).

Upon Arrival, park on level C in the McWane Science Center parking deck and enter through the Special Events Entrance! You will receive a free parking token at the event.

Birmingham Day Camp (July 07 - 11, 2025, 8:00AM-4:00PM) - $175

This one-week day only camp provides fun with new T1D friends. There is also an option to register campers to stay overnight on Wednesday and Thursday nights! Campers learn how to be independent in a medically-supervised, interactive, camp setting. Lunch, snacks, and most diabetes supplies (including insulin) are provided with the exception of pump supplies and CGM supplies. One sibling or friend may also register for this program. Bus transportation from Samford University is available daily for this program, or you can drop off/pick up at camp site in Chelsea. Cullman T1D Family Day (October 19, 2024, 1:00PM-4:00PM) - FREE

This event is now October 19th!!! This free event will include diabetes education, information about Camp Seale Harris programs & events, and of course games for all ages! It will be held on Saturday, September 14th, from 1-4 PM– we will be in Pavillion #2 at Sportsmans Lane Park.

Gulf Coast Diabetes WALK (March 8, 2025, 10:00AM-12:00PM) - FREE

Join us for a free event with music, food, and fun for the whole family! When your team walks in honor of your favorite camper, all donations raised support your camp fees and “Living with Diabetes Scholarship.” Walk live, or online, and support camp. Registration is open now!

Huntsville Day Camp (June 23 - 27, 2025, 8:00AM-4:00PM) - $175

This one-week day only camp provides fun with new T1D friends. Campers learn how to be independent in a medically-supervised, interactive, camp setting. Lunch, snacks, and most diabetes supplies (including insulin) are provided with the exception of pump supplies and CGM supplies. One sibling or friend may also register for this program.

Huntsville T1D Family Party (January 25, 2025, 12:00PM-3:00PM) - FREE

Join your T1D friends as we kick off 2025 at Stars & Strikes Bowling Alley! This FREE event promises fun for all ages. Siblings & family members are invited & encouraged to attend. Snacks, bowling, and arcade are included! It will run from 12-3pm at Stars and Strikes Bowling Alley (930 Old Monrovia Rd NW; Huntsville, AL 35806) on Saturday, January 25.

Huntsville Diabetes WALK (April 19, 2025, 2:00PM-4:00PM) - FREE

Summer Family Weekend (May 09 - 11, 2025) - $425

Summer Family Camp promises fun for the whole family. Located at Camp ASCCA on north Lake Martin in Jackson’s Gap, Alabama, your family can experience the same camp site where your kid could come to overnight Senior or Junior camp on their own in June.. Campers gain quality education time with medical professionals and seasonal recreation activities for the whole family, like boating, zip lining, crafts, putt putt golf, family games and swimming. Parents also get a break while kids enjoy supervised activities and get to know other T1D friends. Family weekend camps are great for first-time campers, newly diagnosed, and returning families connecting with T1D friends and learning the latest advancements.  Each family has their own air conditioned lodge room with twin/bunk beds. All meals and snacks are provided. Each family is responsible for insulin and all other medical supplies while at camp.

Fall Family Weekend (October 24 - 26, 2025) - $425

Fall Family Camp is a favorite that fills up early, and promises fun for the whole family. Located at Camp ASCCA on north Lake Martin in Jackson’s Gap, Alabama, your family can experience the same camp site where your kid could come to overnight Senior or Junior camp on their own in June.. Campers gain quality education time with medical professionals and seasonal recreation activities for the whole family, like boating, zip lining, crafts, bonfire with smores, putt putt golf, family games and a fall carnival (bring costumes!). Parents also get a break while kids enjoy supervised activities and get to know other T1D friends. Family weekend camps are great for first-time campers, newly diagnosed, and returning families connecting with T1D friends and learning the latest advancements.  Each family has their own air conditioned/heated lodge room with twin/bunk beds. All meals and snacks are provided. Each family is responsible for insulin and all other medical supplies while at camp.

Senior Camp (June 01 - 06, 2025) - $800

Campers will stay in air-conditioned cabins with other T1D campers their age. Cabin sizes range from 6-8 campers with 2 counselors. T1D children and teens will learn to become more independent and confident in their diabetes care. Senior camp is supervised by a full medical staff who assist your T1D in medication doses, insulin pumps and injections, midnight blood sugar checks, and more. Activities at Senior Camp include swimming, tubing, waterslides, crafts, fishing, zip line, and sports/games. All meals, snacks, and most diabetes supplies (including insulin) are provided with the exception of pump and CGM supplies. Campers learn to live well with diabetes and make friendships that will last forever!

Junior Camp (June 08 - 13, 2025) - $800

Campers will stay in air-conditioned cabins with other T1D campers their age. Cabin sizes range from 6-8 campers with 2 counselors and 1-2 CITs. T1D children will learn to become more independent and confident in their diabetes care. Junior camp is supervised by a full medical staff who assist your T1D in medication doses, insulin pumps and injections, midnight blood sugar checks, and more. Activities at Junior Camp include swimming, tubing, waterslides, crafts, fishing, zip line, and sports/games. All meals, snacks, and most diabetes supplies (including insulin) are provided with the exception of pump and CGM supplies. Campers learn to live well with diabetes and make friendships that will last forever!

Birmingham Diabetes WALK (April 5, 2025, 10:00AM-12:00PM) - FREE

Destin T1D Family Party (January 25, 2025, 9:00AM-11:00AM) - FREE

This is a FREE Family Event and will include Ice Skating at the Village of Baytowne Wharf (9100 Baytowne Wharf Blvd, Miramar Beach, FL 32550). Make sure to dress in warm clothes! All ages are welcome. The event will run from 9am – 11am on Saturday, January 25th.

Spring Family Weekend (April 25 - 27, 2025) - $425

Spring Family Camp in Mobile, AL promises fun for the whole family. Located at Camp Grace in west Mobile, AL, your family can experience the same camp site where your kid could come to day or overnight Coastal Camp in July. Campers gain quality education time with medical professionals and seasonal recreation activities for the whole family like: kyack, canoe, paddle boats, zip lining, fishing, crafts, archery, and family games. Parents also get a break while kids enjoy supervised activities and get to know other T1D friends. Family weekend camps are great for first-time campers, newly diagnosed, and returning families connecting with T1D friends and learning the latest advancements.  Each family has their own air conditioned cabin with twin/bunk beds. All meals and snacks are provided. Each family is responsible for insulin and all other medical supplies while at camp.

Coastal Camp (July 20 - 25, 2025) - $500

Campers will stay in air-conditioned cabins with other T1D campers their age. Cabin sizes range from 6-8 campers with 2 counselors. T1D children and teens will learn to become more independent and confident in their diabetes care. Coastal Camp Seale Harris is supervised by a full medical staff who assist your T1D in medication doses, insulin pumps and injections, midnight blood sugar checks, and more. Activities at Coastal Camp include canoeing, waterslides, crafts, fishing, ropes course, and sports/games. All meals, snacks, and most diabetes supplies (including insulin) are provided with the exception of pump and CGM supplies. Campers learn to live well with diabetes and make friendships that will last forever! Bus transport from Pensacola may be available for this session. Contact our office at 205-402-0415 for more information on bus transportation. Pensacola check-in will begin at 1pm on Sunday, July 23rd. The bus will leave for camp at 3pm.

Mobile Day Camp (July 21 - 25, 2025, 8:00AM-4:00PM) - $175

This one-week day only camp provides fun with new T1D friends. Campers learn how to be independent in a medically-supervised, interactive, camp setting. Lunch, snacks, and most diabetes supplies (including insulin) are provided with the exception of pump supplies and CGM supplies. One sibling or friend may also register for this program. Mobile T1D Family Party (November 16, 2024, 10:00AM-12:00PM) - FREE

Join your T1D friends for this FREE family event on November 16th at the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center (65 Government St Mobile, AL, 36602) from 10am – 12pm! This event will include diabetes education, camp information, and of course time to explore! Siblings and family members are invited and encouraged to attend.

Tuscaloosa Day Camp (June 30 - July 03, 2025, 8:00AM-4:00PM) - $175

This one-week day only camp provides fun with new T1D friends. Campers learn how to be independent in a medically-supervised, interactive, camp setting. Lunch, snacks, and most diabetes supplies (including insulin) are provided with the exception of pump supplies and CGM supplies. One sibling or friend may also register for this program.

Auburn/Opelika Family Christmas Party (December 1, 2024, 2:00PM-4:00PM) - FREE

This is a FREE family event on Sunday, December 1st from 2PM – 4PM. This event will be held at Off the Rails Gaming Opelika (817 South Railroad Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801). Join us to have fun connecting with other T1D families while playing holiday games and more! Be sure to wear your most festive holiday attire or ugliest Christmas sweater! Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.

Panama City T1D Family Party (December 8, 2024, 3:00PM-6:00PM) - FREE

Join Camp Seale Harris and your T1D friends at Dave and Buster’s in Panama City on Sunday, December 8th from 3pm-6pm. This FREE event will include diabetes education, information about Camp Seale Harris programs & events, and of course games for all ages! This event is for children with diabetes and their families. River Region Family Day (October 5, 2024, 9:00AM-2:00PM) - FREE

This is a FREE Family Fun day on Saturday, October 5th from 9am-2pm at YMCA Camp Chandler located at 1240 Jordan Dam Road in Wetumpka, AL. Enjoy family activities such as archery, riflery, canoes, climbing tower, and a game room, as well as snacks, lunch, information about other Camp Seale Harris programs, and time visiting other families with diabetes!
