Campers will stay in air-conditioned cabins with other T1D campers their age. Cabin sizes range from 6-8 campers with 2 counselors. T1D children and teens will learn to become more independent and confident in their diabetes care. Coastal Camp Seale Harris is supervised by a full medical staff who assist your T1D in medication doses, insulin pumps and injections, midnight blood sugar checks, and more. Activities at Coastal Camp include canoeing, waterslides, crafts, fishing, ropes course, and sports/games. All meals, snacks, and most diabetes supplies (including insulin) are provided with the exception of pump and CGM supplies. Campers learn to live well with diabetes and make friendships that will last forever! Bus transport from Pensacola may be available for this session. Contact our office at 205-402-0415 for more information on bus transportation. Pensacola check-in will begin at 1pm on Sunday, July 23rd.
